Observation: why Antietam National Battlefield Park may be regarded among the most, perhaps the most, pristine of preservation projects within the National Parks system of historic sites. Antietam National Battlefield Park has been noted as the most preserved of historic landscapes and “view sheds”, but even so, its arrangements include privately worked farmland.
